2005 J.N. Gagnard Batard Montrachet Chateau de Fieuzal Blanc giving complexity and finessePRE ORDER Winemaker Notes "compact, serious, and built to age finale". The wine opens with a "ripe and vaguely exotic nose" of white and yellow peach, spice, and delicate acacia blossom, accented by prominent petrol aromas. On the palate, it exhibits moderately dense flavors with "focused power" and an underlying sense of tension, reflecting the superb quality of the 2005 vintage.
